Women and Power: Brigid

Week 3 February 5th Brigid: The Triple Goddess

We began by sharing the wonderful work done by HerStory on getting Brigid’s Day established as a National Holiday and then shared the extraordinary Light Show where Karina’s Book and daughter Kathy’s Art was projected on to Trinity College Dublin. Margarita and Joni then told the story of the Pagan Brigid and the Saint Brigid respectively. After the usual discussions Karina took us in to a remarkable experience of the inner world of this uniquely Irish Goddess.
