Week 5 February 19th Sadhbh and Oisin and Niamh: Otherworld Women

This week was an exploration of power in the context of otherworld women. Specifically we heard Chaobang’s powerful telling of Sadhbh and her encounter with the Druid and his abuse. We then heard the familiar story of Oisin’s journey with Niamh Cinn Óir. Having discussed the myths we heard a very different take and tone on the two stories from Karina. The differences certainly deepened and enriched.
